Frank, The best price I have found on this lens is here at the link provided below, the seller is ebay i.d. djia or csm restoration parts, also known as clauss studios, it is $38.00 for the lens, and only $5.00 shipping to australia. You will notice in the link it says "for moto guzzi" but this is the correct cev 127, I have bought three of these from them now. You can find this lens several places, but honestly no one I checked could beat this price... This is a repro, but it is usa made, clauss studios is a small place, and they make quality stuff, I compared it to my original one on my scr, and could not tell them apart, aside from the crack of course...

Re: New to Ducati
Joe,
Thank you for the link and advice. I will check out the link and see what else they stock as Australia is very limited.
Have started making a list of minor things to attack as it would appear that the bike was more a show piece than a monthly ride.
Thanks again.
I'll keep the updates coming.

Re: New to Ducati
Thanks Joe,
Ordered that lense, they were great to deal with and the part will be in OZ in a couple of days.
Visited Phil at Road and Race and picked up some basics. Was good to talk to him and the best advice he gave was the Dellorto that came with the bike was good to use and will be going back on the bike.
Found a major issue with the bike that is none of the wiring is connected. Spark comes straight from the battery so will be checking the charge output from the alternator. That is why it had plenty of spark from a 12 volt battery.
Cheers
