scrambler tires

Postby Teckhardt » Sun Dec 27, 2009 10:32 pm

The original Pirelli MT-53 on the SCR have cracks in the sidewalls so I will need to replace them when I have new wheels built. I know there is a Duro replica of the MT-53 but I would like to avoid a Chinese tire if I can.

Original sizes are 3.50-19 front and 4.00-18 rear.

Anyone have any ideas for replacements? All I have seen so far are the Dunlop K70 and the Avon Speedmaster. Neither really "do it" for me.

Wow, old post and still no replys? Looking for the same thing. Just ordered new shouldered excel rims and looking for tires. Went a bit larger on rims 2.15x19 front, 2.50x18 rear. Looks like they should fit great. Any Ideas on tire would be helpfull. Thanks, Dennis.
