I have considerable trouble riding mine, it's no longer fun. I have trouble getting it onto the stand. My 250 is so much easier to ride.
be nice, I'm not very bright.

Yes the 900 bevel are heavy beasts! I keep thinking about buying a side stand for mine; even though I have taken a ton of weight off of mine over the years ( different fairing, mudguards, exhaust, changed steel parts for aluminium, small battery) it is still a heavy lump.

Last year I was thinking of giving up riding my Moto Guzzi V twin because of the weight although I did not want to. In the end I chose to alter the seating position for maximum comfort and to change mindset of riding, going for enjoying the ride at my own pace. It also helped that I have a centre stand lifting handle placed just below top of rear shock. Accepting that I couldn't ride like a teenager at 77 helped.

Getting the sidestand to work after 25 years of just using centerstands proved a revellation . So much easier to mount the bike . Saved having to do ballet exercises every morning .

Just remember to retract it before riding off!
