I don't know anything more then the Craigslist post but you don't see many of these given the year / model in the USA.

Good bikes, a few mates have this model 250.
They have no trouble keeping up with much bigger bikes, as long as you're not a fat bastard.
They sell for a lot more here in Australia.
10k is not expensive, don't know about the fairing though?

Yes, very rare in the US. I think the last one I saw come up for sale in North America was a year or two ago in Canada. I believe I am correct in saying the US market got the non-desmo non-'sportified' wide case singles near to the end and even those are rare to find.
