Cookies (or lack thereof)

It has come to my attention that the website does not have a statement regarding the use of Cookies.
The Motoscrubs website does not capture, collect or sell personal data. Your user information is not shared, sold or given to anyone.
The forum uses phpBB forum software. I have read that phpBB’s default cookie settings use session cookies, which are tied to the user’s session and not shared with other websites phpBB. This means:
They are not cross‑domain cookies.
They are not used to track users across unrelated sites.
They are essential for phpBB to function normally.
The website is hosted by Hostway.com. I believe it would be unethical and probably illegal for them to glean and sell your personal information from a website which they are paid to host.
