Selector box return spring

Postby ranton_rambler » Mon May 12, 2025 10:57 am

I was out on my bike yesterday and it seems like the pedal return spring has failed.

My old copy of the parts books shows 175.CB 63 (old style numbering) and the link below says 0400.13.130 (new style).

My bike is a narrowcase 175TS. Does anyone know if the same part was used in all of them? Thanks, Ian P.

The Ducati Classics site has the same part number for the 175 - https://www.ducaticlassics.com/parts/17 ... ge-4-speed

All the scissor return springs are the same for the bevel singles, early bevel twins with selector boxes and even a lot of the other bikes such as the 125 six days two stroke!

Thanks both.
I’ll take it apart and see if I need anything else before I order a spring. But I have a more pressing job on another bike to sort out first.
