Does anyone have a picture of a 450RT compression release lever/cable set up on the valve cover?

The release is not on the valve cover on R/T's, it's a valve screwed into a 10mm threaded hole going directly into the combustion chamber on the right side of the head.
That's why the oil return tube has that exaggerated bend on this model, to clear the release mechanism.

SORRY,

I MADE A MISTAKE, what I need is a picture of the cable /lever setup on the 450 that is on valve cover. I'm dealing with a different bike and I'm pretty new to the bevel world.

____ Wally, so what's the deal on this request of yours? ... Getting too-old & forgetful?
Don't you remember,
that you have already placed such a request/post (within the 'Compression Release' thread) concerning this same question/request, and that I (later) posted pix of such for you? - (As can still be seen on page-3 of that thread -[which is currently found on page-4 of these thread-listings].)
And even PMed you to make sure that those pix were of any help to you !?
__ So weren't either of those previously posted pix useful at all to you? _ If not, then what exactly is it that you need to see (that can't be seen in either of those pix)?
Hopeful-Cheers,
-Bob

Sorry Bob and yes I had forgotten, I had failed to store your pictures. I believe that I can now complete the job. I'm 72 and not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
Cheers,
Wally

____ Well of course that's no real problem (for me) Wally ! _ Still quite glad to help you out again !
__ Extra-glad to have any members here who are even older than myself !
" I had failed to store your pictures. "
____ If you need any additional help to store & use those pix for expanded-viewing on your PC, then I'll be glad to explain how you can do so !
__ And if you have any questions at all on the compression-release set-up, then of course please be sure to ask !
DUKE-Cheers,
-Bob
