My 1965 Monza Jr. Reawkens

Hi there.
I have been toiling with my 1965 Monza Jr. off and on for the past 2 years. I paid $100.00 CDN for it from a backyard and it had been stored under a BBQ cover for abour 35 years. Prior to that it had been found in a dumpster outside a steel factory in Hamilton Ontario. The original frame was bent beyond repair so the motor is sitting in an NC frame I puchased about a year ago. The piston was mofidied by a cyber-friend in Edmonton per Tom Bailey's book:

Forunately, after many nights of tinkering, I was able to get her to fire last night after 37 years.

She kicks-over twice: once at 6:20 and then again at the end.
I did notice on the last start-up that the drive sprocket was spinning so perhpas much of my 11:00 minutes of frustration could have been avoided if I had checked to see if it had slipped out of neutral! C'est la vie.
Thanks for looking in and I will check the boards for information on carbs. It still has the original D'ellorto unit which may need to be replaced, even though I have refurbished it.
All the Best,
Andrew
