New guy here but long time Ducati owner. Hi.


So, I'm gussying up the regulator for my '66 250 Monza. Road & Race has the main decal but not for the connection cover. Anyone know who has them? While I'm at it, anyone have a spare fuse cover for same? Mine is 95% missing.

Can you take a quick picture of the fuse cover? I think I have one.

I can't help on the decals; there is one which mounts near the I/O that just shows the colors of the wires, and another that's just a Ducati label I think.... Not sure which one you are looking for but I thought they were all still available.

I need the color-coded decal. Road & Race has the main side transfer.

The fuse cover is on the opposite end of the reg in the background of this pic taken from the Tech section of this site.

Many years ago, if I remember correctly, somebody offered that color-code sticker. I thought it was Road and Race - it might be worth pinging Phil with an email as that may be an item just to small and too little in demand to merit inclusion on the site but still available nevertheless.

I have some spare regulators in various stages of decomposition - let me see if I have a fuse cover and if I do I will send it along to you.

If you get stuck its worth thinking about printing your own decals.
I often make decals for model making and you can buy decal paper that you can print on with a normal desk jet. A can of fixative spray and that's it. Home made water slide decals. It would not be difficult to create the colored squares with a simple program for your PC, i use MS publisher.
Obviously if you can buy them its easier but as a back up plan it can be quite rewarding to make your own

I have used that decal paper and it works great. You just can't have white in your decal as printers have no white ink. For an ordinary inkjet printer white is just the absence of ink on white paper. But I digress...

I am almost certain that the color bar was on adhesive foil strip. I was hoping that I had one hidden away somewhere to give you but I couldn't find one.

Wow, I've been on here a whole day and already have great results. I did contact R&R and no luck. No mention of them ever having them either. I like the decal printing idea. I suppose I could swing into a craft store and look for decal paper as well.

And, Jim! Wow, I thought that item was going to be a hen's tooth in a hay stack in the Sahara. That is exactly what I am looking for. AND the hardware?

This is all major motivation. I came here hoping to learn some stuff and maybe contribute at times. This is starting off great!

Hi Jim. You can buy white decal paper as well as clear. so the white area is simply left un inked.
