Hello, can someone please show me a picture of the side stand in the up position.
The one I have is bent and I would like to see how is should be.
Thanks
Graeme

I don't know if this is for the SCR (longer), but it does show the relationship between the engine plate mount and the sidestand leg.

Thanks Jordan.
The side stand on mine hangs down and looks like it's been damaged in a previous crash. It's fixable but I didn't know how they are supposed to sit.
Did the series 2 scramblers have a centre stand or just the side stand?

My SCR based bike is a late model, 1974 I'm told by the previous owner Ian Gowanloch.
It has provision for a centre stand, the only stand currently fitted.
I don't know if it was fitted with a centre stand when new.

Jordan, close enough to 325 mm centre of pivot to the end. Looks the same length as the one in your picture.

So, what length should a kickstand be on a narrow case monza?
Because mine measures 325mm, and it seems to be a little too long, the bike stands up so straight that it nearly falls over...
Graeme, sorry for butting in,
Bruce

I have a note of c. 265mm, Bruce. But best start a new thread to check.
FWIW, coupla other differences I'm aware of:
1. The attachment plates are different shapes, wide-case vs. narrow-case. Wide-case plates are curved at the front on the long edge, narrow are straight edged.
2. The tube of the bit that you put your foot on to deploy the stand is bent on the wide-case, straight on the narrow.
