can any one please help with standard measurements.i am trying to return to normal state a frame that had its footrests welded directly to the frame,
(previous owner),all trace of the serrated adjustment system disguised with enthusiastic weld. The frame is a narrow case 250 type, though of Spanish
origin. All i need is the distance across the frame, between the two serrated bushes on the frame. If my ideas for successful repair work out i will report the details.
The original aim was to avoid this repair, and resort to rearsets, but for the difficulty of finding brake pedal, and kickstart levers, these parts which are
used on mach ones etc. seem to be very thin on the ground.any thoughts and suggestions much appreciated. regards, Peter Gardner.

Re: Frame /footrest mount dimensions
Total length over the serrations is approximately 185mm, but the length of the RH and LH sides varies.
There is about 50mm projecting from the outside of the RH rear engine mount, and 60mm projecting from the LH mount.

Re: Frame /footrest mount dimensions
Many thanks Jon,exactly the detailed information i need,i had intended to replace the serrated surfaces on the frame and the footrests with Hirth
joints. These i found on the internet, but a French company that manufactures a wide variety, some of which would be suitable, declined to supply
on a retail basis. The idea of using these came from cycle technology,Campagnolo ultra torque chainsets are joined in the bottom bracket area using
this system.Unfortunately these state of the art components are too costly to take a hack saw to simply for the Hirth joint.I have one wrecked chainset
with a perfect Hirth joint, just need to find a similar item which will give me four interlocking surfaces needed for adjustable footrests.
Progress is ever slow, but thanks to your information,is rolling once more, regards, Peter Gardner.

Aye R-etro66,
Have you thought about using Nord washers?

There are also these Bosch Hirth joints, but I'm not sure if they would modify for your requirement?

Shame about the French! There are also some USA manufacturers, or the Far Eastern Alibaba suppliers, but I haven't made a search of those.
Good health and let us know if this proves worthwhile for your purpose.

Hello Bill, much food for thought,i like the look of the Nord washers, the range of size options should provide something to fit the task. The smaller
thinner look more suitable for this particular application,i will try to find a source and see how they work in practice. Many thanks for your ingenious suggestion. regards,Peter Gardner.
